Children and Young People Therapy
Yes, we offer a free 15-minute initial telephone consultation for all families. This is your chance to discuss any concerns about you or your child's speech, language, or communication development and learn how we can support you.
There is no obligation to proceed following the consultation.
A comprehensive adult assessment, including feedback, is £200.
Assessment is tailored to the individual and focuses on understanding communication strengths, needs and priorities. This may be particularly relevant following brain injury or stroke, including for individuals experiencing aphasia or dysarthria.
Where a recent assessment has already been completed, a more focused review assessment may be appropriate. This can be discussed during your initial consultation and priced accordingly.
Therapy sessions are £85 per session (45–60 minutes).
Sessions are tailored to the individual and focus on improving communication, confidence and participation in everyday life. Therapy is practical and collaborative, and may include conversation-based work, speech clarity, word finding and communication strategies.
A block of 6 sessions is available for £480. Block booking can support consistency and allow time to build and embed communication strategies.
Recommended frequency will be discussed following assessment.
Parent and carer coaching sessions are £75 per session.
These sessions are designed to support parents, carers and family members to feel confident using practical communication strategies in everyday life.
For children and young people, we will explore how communication develops, why certain aspects may be difficult, and how to make small, meaningful changes that support progress at home, in education settings and in social situations.
For adults, sessions focus on supporting communication following brain injury or stroke, including practical strategies to support conversation, understanding and participation in everyday life.
Coaching is highly individualised, collaborative and non-judgemental, recognising the knowledge and experience you already have while providing evidence-based strategies that are realistic and easy to embed into daily routines.
Sessions can take place in person, online or by telephone. These sessions do not involve direct therapy and instead provide dedicated time to focus on communication needs, questions and priorities.
