Clinical Experience

I have extensive experience working with individuals with acquired communication difficulties, including following brain injury and stroke. This includes supporting adults with aphasia and dysarthria, and delivering communication groups focused on speech clarity, confidence and participation.

Previously, I was Head of Children and Youth Services at a Belfast-based charity, where I led regional services for children and young people affected by acquired brain injury. Alongside this, I developed and facilitated parent and carer support groups and an advocacy service, supporting families navigating complex challenges.

Wider Experience & Leadership

I have experience delivering training in education, community and healthcare settings, supporting professionals to develop practical approaches to communication and language.

Alongside my clinical work, I am a Board Member at Larne Community Care Centre, contributing to the development and governance of services that support the local community.
