School Partnerships and Organisation Support

I offer flexible Speech and Language Therapy support for schools, nurseries, and organisations, including commissioned and buy-in services tailored to the needs of your setting.

Support is designed to be practical, collaborative, neuro-inclusive, and responsive to the individual needs of children, young people, staff teams, and families. Services can be adapted for early years, primary, secondary, community, and specialist settings.

 

I understand that schools and organisations are often balancing increasing levels of need alongside limited time and resources. My aim is to provide realistic, supportive input that helps build confidence, understanding, and communication-friendly environments within everyday practice.

Support May Include:

  • direct Speech and Language Therapy intervention

  • communication screening and observations

  • classroom and environmental recommendations

  • support for Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

  • neuro-affirming and trauma-informed approaches

  • staff consultation and collaborative problem-solving

  • SENCO support and liaison

  • parent and family meetings

  • communication target setting and review

  • group intervention and targeted programmes

  • emotional regulation and communication support

  • strategies to support attention, listening, and participation

  • communication-friendly classroom support

  • reflective practice and staff mentoring

  • training workshops and information sessions

 

Flexible Support Options

Support can be provided as:

  • weekly, fortnightly, or monthly visits

  • commissioned or buy-in services

  • short-term targeted blocks of support

  • ongoing consultancy arrangements

  • individual or small group intervention

  • staff training and whole-team workshops

  • online or in-person sessions

 

Training & Workshops

Training sessions are tailored to the needs of your setting and designed to be accessible, practical, and evidence-informed.

Areas may include:

  • speech, language and communication development

  • supporting neurodivergent children and young people

  • behaviour as communication

  • emotional regulation and co-regulation

  • communication-friendly environments

  • supporting listening, attention, and executive functioning

  • trauma-informed and neuro-inclusive practice

  • practical strategies for everyday support

I believe the best outcomes happen when children and young people are supported consistently across the environments around them. I work collaboratively with staff, families, and wider professionals to help embed supportive strategies into everyday routines and interactions.
